The SHC BJJ is an organization founded by the black belt Samuel Hertzog Canquerino, created from the conviction that Jiu-Jitsu is a powerful tool for personal and social transformation. More than a martial art, Jiu-Jitsu is a path capable of changing mindsets, habits, and life directions—just as it has throughout his own journey.
Our methodology goes beyond technical instruction. We work with Jiu-Jitsu in all of its dimensions: physical, mental, emotional, and social. Each training session is designed to develop stronger, more disciplined individuals who are aware of their role both on and off the mat, always grounded in values such as respect, ethics, resilience, and responsibility.
SHC BJJ was also born with a strong social commitment. We believe that access to sports should not be a privilege, but an opportunity open to everyone. For this reason, we develop social projects aimed at reaching people who do not have the means to practice Jiu-Jitsu, promoting inclusion, a sense of belonging, and new life perspectives through collective effort.
Here, Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone: for those seeking health, quality of life, and weight loss; for those who dream of competing at a high level; for those who want to become instructors, earn their black belt, or simply grow as better human beings and citizens.
The SHC BJJ is built every day with purpose, dedication, and unity. Our mission is to transform lives, strengthen communities, and show that Jiu-Jitsu is much more than fighting—it is education, opportunity, and a lifestyle that creates lasting positive impact.
